For a long time I wanted
to see a Telugu film with no comedians and still be entertained and at last I
found one in the form of "Businessman - Guns Don't Need Agreements."
The movie has a thin story line, but it's completely Mahesh mania that glues your eyeballs to the screen. Puri's dialogues are awwwwwwwe. Career motham kalipi inni dialogues cheppi vundadu Mahesh Babu. Discovery channel comparison, Election fund scene, Jaws 1, 2, 3 and conclusion about your GOAL are the dialogues which we will never forget. There were many stereotypes and formulaic scenes, esp. the way the romance develops between the lead pair and the inevitable fight in the climax, but the movie surpasses all the odds and emerges as a winner. The film has many shades of RGV (the fights, scenes and lighting). The audience went berserk at the start of a scene with pinkish lighting, guess why ??? It's the scene carrying the famous punch line, "Nannu Roundup Chesi Confuse Cheyodhu... Confusionlo Ekkuva Kottesthanu!!"
The bone of contention for the movie is the Censor Board and it can be called the real villain for killing the movie tragically. If the punch lines of a movie are censored then it loses half its impact. They even blurred the bikini clad gals in 'Sir Osthara' and Swetha Bharadwaj's sexy thighs in 'Bad Boyz' songs. Kajal Agarwal's acting as a dumb woman was just so effortless, if you know what I mean? Finally, it's another super-hit for Prince Mahesh. I loved Puri Jagannath's confidence in the movie. With his 'Carlos' like role in "Businessman," Mahesh establishes himself as 'Edgar Ramirez' of India. "Businessman" has a terrific concept which could have done wonders but nevertheless it's engrossing and entertaining.
